An important tip is while most fish will live in a deeper pool; do not forget that they will regularly feed upstream or downstream from the pool. Be alert and do not splash into the situation. Pick your fishing spot. You do not have to go to everyone that has big trees over it. If you have a tendency to get your line hung up, pass on by and find another spot. Remember fishing is supposed to be fun. Do not get frustrated or fed up because of constantly getting your line stuck.

Fishing a small stream is different than larger rivers or lakes. It can be very productive. The fish will be yours for the taking. Chances are there will not be many people around you.
